Q How do Katool car lifts ship?

All Katool car lifts ship via freight carrier to residential or commercial addresses. Due to the size and weight — ranging from 1,250 to 4,850 lbs depending on the model — standard parcel carriers like UPS and FedEx cannot be used.

Freight delivery is curbside only. The driver will bring the shipment to the curb or end of your driveway. They are not responsible for moving equipment into your garage or shop.

Q Is liftgate service available for Katool lifts?
🚫 No liftgate service is available for Katool lift deliveries. Due to the extreme size and weight — up to 4,850 lbs — liftgate service cannot be accommodated regardless of delivery address type.

You must have unloading equipment on-site such as a forklift, backhoe, or skid steer capable of safely unloading the lift from the freight truck.

Q What if I don't have unloading equipment at my address?

If you do not have proper unloading equipment available, we can arrange to ship your Katool lift to a freight terminal near you — typically within 30–50 miles of your location.

💡 Terminal pickup is often the best option for home garage customers without a forklift on-site. Many equipment rental companies offer forklift rentals — contact us and we'll help you find a solution.
Q How long does Katool lift delivery take?

In-stock items: Allow 2 business days for processing after payment, followed by an estimated 5–7 business days for transit.

Out-of-stock items: Delivery times vary based on Katool restock schedules. Contact us to confirm current stock status before ordering.

⚠️ Transit time estimates are not guaranteed. Freight carrier delays can occur due to weather, high shipping volumes, or routing changes.
Q Can I get advance notice before my Katool lift is delivered?

We cannot guarantee an exact delivery date or time window. As soon as your lift ships, we will send you a tracking number to monitor your shipment.

✅ Upon request, we can ask the carrier to provide a 24-hour advance delivery notice. Leave a note in the Special Instructions box on the cart page before checkout.

Q Can I pick up my Katool lift directly from the warehouse?

Yes — warehouse pickup is available Monday through Friday, 9AM–5PM local warehouse time. Please allow 24–48 hours after your order is placed for processing before your lift is ready.

⚠️ Same-day pickup is not available under any circumstances.
Q What documents and equipment do I need to bring?
⚠️ Do not go to the warehouse until you receive your official Pickup Invoice from us. The warehouse will not release any Katool equipment without this document.

When you arrive bring the following:

  • Your official Pickup Invoice (emailed by Velocehaus)
  • A valid government-issued photo ID
  • A properly rated trailer or vehicle capable of safely transporting your lift
The name on the Pickup Invoice must match the name on the ID presented at the warehouse.
Q Can I send someone else to pick up my Katool lift?

Yes — if you plan to send a driver or transport company, please email us the full legal name of the driver in advance so we can add them to the purchase order. Adding or updating driver information may take 1–2 business days.

Q How long do I have to pick up my lift once it's ready?

We ask that all warehouse pickups be completed within 10 business days once your Pickup Invoice has been sent. If you need additional time, reach out as soon as possible.

✅ We will never charge restocking fees to our customers.
Q Will warehouse staff help load my Katool lift?

Yes — warehouse staff will assist with loading your lift using their equipment. However, you are responsible for arriving with a properly rated trailer or truck capable of safely transporting the lift.

Q What happens if my Katool lift is out of stock?

If the Katool lift you ordered is not currently in stock, restock typically takes 1–4 weeks depending on the model and supplier availability. We will notify you immediately if your order is affected.

⚠️ We strongly recommend contacting us to confirm current stock availability before placing your order — especially for time-sensitive installations.
Q Can I cancel my order if my Katool lift is backordered?

Yes — if your Katool lift is backordered and the wait time doesn't work for your timeline, contact us and we will process a full refund with no restocking fee.

✅ We will never hold you to an order that no longer makes sense for your situation.

Q What should I do when my Katool lift is delivered?

Before signing the Bill of Lading, carefully inspect all delivered components for visible damage, missing parts, or packaging issues.

🚨 Critical: Any visible damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading before you sign it. Signing without noting damage may affect your ability to file a freight claim.
Q What if I find damage after the driver has left?

Report concealed damage or shortages within 48 hours of delivery. When reporting, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of damaged packaging and affected components
  • A written description of the damage or shortage
  • A copy of your signed Bill of Lading

Q Do I need to keep the original Katool packaging?

Yes — do not discard any original packaging until you have fully inspected all components. Original packaging is required for freight damage claims and may be required for any return or warranty process.
