The Atlas TC229 is an electric and pneumatic rim clamp swing arm tire changer built for homeowners, small commercial garages, ATV dealers, and motorcycle shops that need reliable, professional-quality tire changing capability with the added power of a built-in Bead Blaster system. Sharing the same clamping range and tire changing capabilities as the TC221, the TC229 adds an integrated Bead Blaster that forces an enormous volume of air directly into the tire cavity — seating stiff sidewall, low-profile, and other hard-to-inflate tires quickly and easily. With a 5,500 lb bead breaker force, three adjustable jaw positions, and plastic jaw covers to protect alloy and chrome wheels, the TC229 handles the full range of passenger car and light truck tires without damaging rims or tires.
